Flip the reeds every week or so to freshen the fragrance in the area. When used in an open bottle reed diffuser oils can last roughly 2 months. To replace, pour out the old oil and add the new oil to the bottle. When you change the oil, you should consider changing the reed as well. With time, they lose their efficiency for capillary fringe.
